Gökben's Bad Dream

Four years ago, 27th August was a difficult day for my parents because my grandfather died on that day. My father took him to the hospital because he had fallen down from his bed. He stayed at the hospital for five days and then he died. Immediately, my mother phoned her mother and asked her to come to Çorlu because she was in Şarköy. When she came to Çorlu, we burried my grandfather.

After my grandfather had died my mother's mum stayed with us. I slept with my grandmother in the same room. My bed was under the window. One night after my grandfather’s death, I saw a dream but it seemed so real. In my dream, my grandfather, who had died, was calling me. I opened the window and saw my grandfather. He was still calling me downstairs. I decided to jump. Just then my grandmother caught me and pulled me back from the window. She screamed and told me what I had done but I did not understand anything.

In the end I was very frightened. Somehow I slept again but the day after she didn't remember anything. If she had not woken up I might be dead now. Luckily, while I was having the dream my grandmother woke up and stopped me jumping off the 4th floor. I haven’t had that dream again..
